Radio City Music Hall

building architecture theaterDesigned as part of Rockefeller Center and built in 1932, Radio City Music Hall was designed in Art Deco style by industrial designer Donald Deskey, who created the interior and developed it in the Classicist style, designed by the Egyptian Revival with Modernism. Known to many as the first of its kind in New York City, Severance Hall opened in 1931 and featured an interior that blends modernist and classic styles with modern and traditional elements.

Aside from concert venues, the location features a restaurant, retail store and catering service, and features a full-service bar, a hair salon, a hair salon and a cafe serving a variety of dishes.


The Beacon Theatre

concert rock countryThe Beacon Theatre on Broadway was designed by Chicago architect Walter Ahlschlager in an Art Deco style and is one of the oldest and most famous theaters in Chicago, Illinois. Folies BergA was opened in 1869 and was a cabaret, a music hall, and theater for the people with singers, dances, and extravagant costumes. Opened to the public in 1929, it has hosted a variety of music events from jazz to opera and rock “n” roll to classical music.


Maison Radio

Maison Radio is one of the oldest and most famous radio stations in the United States, with a history of more than 100 years. Legendary performers of the past include the Grateful Dead, Elvis Presley, the Rolling Stones, and many others. The red sandstone rock rising above the stage is beautiful to look at, but the acoustics should also be perfect. The unique arena design puts the audience in a series of balconies surrounding the stage so that wherever you sit, you are never too far away from the sound of the music.


Hollywood Bowl

The amphitheater, recognized by publications such as Rolling Stone as one of the best music venues in America, is the Hollywood Bowl, located in the heart of Hollywood, California, just outside Los Angeles. This year’s list of America’s most famous concert halls is a must if you love live music.
